Cate Hayward added (July 2019): "... I had the name as Priors Meane, I have the same old photograph of the house. My Grand Mother, Cora Isobella Lovell was a parlour maid there in the early 1900's".

Andrew T Doran added (February 2024) "Just after Priors Mesne house was sold by my inlaws Timothy and Joanna Cox the house was used in the film starring Deborough Kerr and Madhur Jaffery called 'The Assam Garden'".
