We think that the location may be the small hall that was behind the Feathers Hotel in Lydney.

Les Brown, ex Lydney Depot (Clerk), thinks this photo was taken at a
presentation awards meeting and it was mixed depot drivers etc. i.e.
Lydney, Coleford & Cinderford. Thats why we cannot recognise everybody.
