Two wage slips from 1921 from Princess Royal Colliery Co. The wage slips belonged to John William Ballinger.

My grandfather John William Ballinger worked at the Colliery in Sept & Oct (maybe longer) 1921 and I thought that you might find the attached wage slips (six in total) of interest. I would be very interested to receive any further information related to my Grandfather's time at the Colliery.

I believe he was living in Hardwicke, Gloucester in 1920 and then moved to France in 1922 as a Horticultural Officer for the Imperial War Graves Commission based near Arras. 

I am also interested in his Wife's (Violet Crane) brother and sister in law, William Edward and Elizabeth Millicent Crane (nee Sanders) who were married in Bream in 1929 and lived at Brockhollands for a number of years. Family rumour suggests that Millie drowned at Brockhollands around 1964. Again any information you might have on these would be greatly appreciated.
